General and Cosmetic Dentistry

Our practitioners invest in our patients by taking advantage of some of the latest technologies available to make dentistry more efficient, accurate, and comfortable. Listed here are some of the ways we use technology in our Kew dental clinic to provide you with better care.

3-D Cone Beam

Patient at Kew East Dentist

A 3-D image allows us to plan for surgical procedures with the greatest precision. Our 3-D cone beam technology captures images of the entire facial structure, teeth, bone, joints, sinuses, and other biological landmarks to assist in the accurate placement of dental implants or planning of complex extractions.

Electric Handpieces

Electric handpieces are quieter and produce less vibration than their air-driven counterparts. Many patients observe that this makes their treatment more comfortable. It also allows for greater treatment accuracy and more conservative treatment options.

Panoramic X-Rays

A panoramic x-ray takes a full image of your teeth, bone structure, and joints. This type of diagnostic radiograph helps us identify cysts and tumors as well as measure bone levels.

Digital Records

Keeping personal information safe is important to us. We store your digital records with layers of encryption in order to protect your dental records. We can also call up information at the click of a mouse to compare over time. Digital record keeping also makes it possible to privately share information vital to your treatment with other practitioners.

Rotary Endodontics

Working within the root canals of teeth requires great precision. Rotary endondontics increase the accuracy of root canal treatment and shortens treatment time – something patients truly appreciate!

Intraoral Camera

We strive to offer the most accurate information to our patients when it comes to their oral health. With a small, handheld intraoral camera, we can take pictures inside your mouth and bring them up on the treatment room monitor for you to review. This provides a greater understanding for patients when making choices regarding their oral health.

Televisions in Patient Rooms

We invite you to relax and enjoy a favorite programme while we take care of your dental needs. Televisions in our treatment rooms make passing the time and relaxing in the dental chair more enjoyable.

Digital Dental X-rays

Digital x-rays capture high-resolution images available for immediate evaluation on our treatment room monitors. We can store images from year to year to monitor changes in your oral health.

Because the digital images are ultra-low in radiation, they offer advanced safety for our patients.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
